War and Peace ,(1956)
A story about Russia in the early 19th century.
The film shows us that war destroys everything, including material and civilization, love, and the dream of destroying the initiator of the war. Only luck can do it.
From the film, we can not help feeling that from Napoleon’s 600000 into Moscow, to the defeat of World War II 100 years later Hitler, history would repeat the same mistake.
